DAY 1

Assistance on arrival at International airport

Arrive Delhi, the Political Capital of India. Delhi is history, and the monuments are tablets on which the history is written. Every conqueror did his best to possess Delhi and make it his capital. It is not a single city but a combination of eight cities that have been established here from as early as 900 BC to 1930 when the British completed the construction of New Delhi as the capital of Imperial India. It is therefore not surprising that the monuments of Delhi successfully mirror the development of the architectural styles in the country. On arrival at the airport lounge, you will be welcomed by TOTAL HOLIDAY OPTIONS executive holding a placard and will assist you with a transfer. Check - in at the hotel an relax.

    DAY 2

    Full day city tour of Old and New Delhi, visiting Spice Market with Rickshaw ride, Jama Masjid, followed by drive past through New Delhi with visit to Qutub Minar

    Proceed for a full day city tour, begin with Old Delhi with a drive past Red Fort to reach Jama Masjid - the largest mosque in India built in red sandstone. Between the mosque and Chandni Chowk is a narrow shop-lined street along which you will be transported by cycle rickshaws on your most exhilarating journey of the tour. A rickshaw ride will take you through markets buzzing with people going about their daily chores, vendors selling their wares and shops decorated and ready for business. Also visit Khari Baoli, a street in Old Delhi, known for its wholesale groceries and Asia's largest wholesale spice market selling all kinds of spices, nuts, herbs and other food products. Enjoy a drive past through the government buildings of New Delhi and conclude your day with a visit to Qutab Minar; being one of the most important landmarks of Delhi, with calligraphy decorated interiors as well as inscriptions of verses of the Holy Quran.

    DAY 3

    Train to Varanasi

    In time assisted departure transfer to Delhi Railway station to board the train to Varanasi. Abode of Lord Shiva and Parvati, the origins of Varanasi are yet unknown. Ghats of Varanasi is a natural supplement to the concept of divinity and is known as the city that liberates the soul from the human body to the ultimate. The city is also renowned for its rich tapestry of music, arts, crafts, and education.

    Assistance on arrival at railway station and evening attend aarti ceremony

    On arrival at the railway station, TOTAL HOLIDAY OPTIONS executive will meet you at the platform holding a placard who will provide assisted transfer to your accommodation. Later in the evening witness the grand prayer ceremony on the ghats of river Ganges. You will be transferred to a surreal world, as dozens of big lamps are lighted and swayed in a semi-circle, in tandem by the priests to offer prayers, while singing of Vedic hymns and playing of the traditional instruments, while the visitors release 100 of small earthen lamps with flickering lights.

    DAY 4

    Sunrise boat ride followed by Heritage walk, later visit Sarnath and silk weaver's village

    Start your day with a sunrise boat ride on the river Ganges followed by a short heritage walk through the old city. One can see the perpetual movement of the pilgrims on the steps, the vivid colours of their clothes glistening against the pale gold water, the triangular flags fluttering atop the temple spires. Visit the Banaras ghat, Assi ghat and various others. Return to the hotel for breakfast. Thereafter visit silk weaver’s village, where the famous exclusive Varanasi or Banarasi silk sarees are produced by the talented local weaving community. Varanasi, abounds in the art of silk weaving, an exotic work of art which manifests itself in precious Banarasi silk saris and silk brocades. Later visit Sarnath - the site of the deer park where Gautama Buddha is said to have given his first sermon. It has been a premier centre for Buddhism and has a rich collection of ancient Buddhist relics and antiques comprising of numerous Buddha and Bodhisattva images on display at the Museum.

    DAY 5

    Flight to Delhi

    Assisted departure transfer to Varanasi airport to board the flight to Delhi.

    Assistance on arrival at airport and travel to Agra

    On arrival, once you have collected your baggage please proceed to the arrival lounge. TOTAL HOLIDAY OPTIONS Executive will meet you holding a placard. He will assist and introduce you with the driver, who will drive you further to Agra, home to India's most famous landmark, the Taj Mahal. A poem of white marble, the Taj is described as the most extravagant monument ever built for love.

    DAY 6

    Full day city tour visiting Taj Mahal, Agra Fort and Marble Workshop

    Early morning visit India’s most iconic landmark, the Taj Mahal, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the Seven Wonders of the World. The epitome of love, standing majestically on the banks of the river Yamuna, was built in the 17th century by the Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan in loving memory of his queen. Made with pure white marble, ornated with semi-precious stones and built around a beautiful four gardens plan, it is universally admired as the greatest achievement in the whole range of Indo-Islamic architecture. Next visit Agra Fort built by Emperor Akbar, made with red sandstone, exhibits a fascinating mixture of Islamic and Hindu styles of artistry. On way back, visit Marble factory to witness artisans creating beautiful marble handicrafts whose ancestors had worked during the construction of the Taj.

    DAY 7

    Travel to Jaipur

    Assistance on departure and travel to Jaipur. The first planned city of India is a treasure-trove of culture, art and history, famous for its colour, lifestyle and Rajasthani cuisine.

    Assistance on arrival and Hi-tea at Rambagh palace, evening free to explore market

    On arrival in Jaipur, assistance for check-in at your accommodation. Get ready for a Hi-Tea at the Rambagh Palace, Savour the best teas of the world with an exquisite array of exotic canapés and pastries while watching the resident peacocks strut in the gardens. Rest of the evening is free to explore and indulge in shopping at the colourful bazaars of Jaipur.

    DAY 8

    Full day city tour with visit to Amber fort with Jeep ride, Observatory and City Palace, Henna Painting and Turban tying in the evening

    Start a full-day sightseeing tour with an excursion to the majestic Amber Fort, constructed from yellow and pink sandstone and gleaming white marble. Back in the city, photo Stop at Hawa Mahal or Palace of Winds. At the City Palace Museum, our knowledgeable guide will enhance your tour of its extensive and carefully curated collection including miniature paintings, ancient weapons and traditional Rajasthani royal costumes. Late afternoon women will have Henna painting and men will learn the art of Rajasthani Turban tying.

    DAY 9

    Day at leisure

    Day at leisure. You are free to book a spa / Ayurveda message (on a direct payment basis). Or go shopping in Jaipur’s exotic markets.

    DAY 10

    Travel to Deogarh Palace

    Morning assistance on departure and travel to Deogarh and experience rural village life which once was a very important area of Mewar aristocracy. Your stay will be at none other than Deogarh Mahal, a truly remarkable luxury palace hotel where every room of the palace tells the story of the bygone era.

    Check in at hotel and later jeep safari

    Arrive Deogarh and check-in at the hotel, former home to Mewar rulers. Join a local guide for a fascinating jeep safari through the surrounding countryside and walk through the local village.

    DAY 11

    Morning enjoy local Train Ride, evening explore local village

    Morning after breakfast, take a nice guided pleasure trip into the Aravalli Hills by Meter gauge train on 1930’s British Track. The track consists of 17 U shape bridges and 2 tunnels. The engine laboriously and slowly pulls the train through the most beautiful forests and hills that you get to see in the state, this ride is really unique as you even get to interact with the locals who’ll readily share their seats with you and try their best to make conversation with you while trying to suppress the surprise and excitement of sitting next to a foreigner from far-away lands! Later return back to hotel. Evening enjoy Jeep drive through a pastoral setting where one explores the natural surrounding with people tending to their fields and cattle and living in complete harmony with nature. We visit a cave temple –a cavernous rock in which is ensconced a shrine of Lord Shiva.

    DAY 12

    Travel to Jodhpur

    Morning travel to Jodhpur, experience the feeling of travelling back in time with this journey, while you catch a glimpse of the splendour and magnificence of this ancient desert city. At its best, it is a doorway to the wonderland of sand dunes and shrubs, rocky terrain and thorny trees.

    On arrival in Jodhpur, you will be assisted with a transfer. Afternoon free to explore the city's colourful bazaars. Brilliantly tie-dyed fabrics, miniature paintings, finely carved statues, metalwork and pottery are some of the many things you’ll find.

    DAY 13

    Morning city tour visiting Mehrangarh fort, Jaswant Thada and remaining day free for shopping

    Morning proceed for a city tour of Jodhpur visiting Mehrangarh Fort, one of the largest forts in India, where the beauty and grandeur of numerous palaces inside narrates a saga of hard sandstone yielding to the chisels of skilled Jodhpuri sculptors. Inside, the collection of musical instruments, palanquins, furniture and cannons on the fort’s ramparts are all well preserved. Continue to Jaswant Thada, a cluster of royal cenotaphs in white marble built in the year 1899 AD in memory of Maharaja Jaswant Singh II. Within the main cenotaph are the portraits of various Jodhpur rulers. It is an architectural landmark of Jodhpur. Remaining of the day is free for shopping. Jodhpur is a treasure trove for shoppers, bazaars here are teeming with an array of handicrafts. One can shop for white metal curios, silverware, quilts, tie-and-die fabrics, leather goods, wooden toys, paintings, embroidered shoes, Jodhpur breeches or Jodhpuris and range of jodhpurs souvenirs.

    DAY 14

    Flight to Mumbai

    Morning assisted departure transfer to Jodhpur airport to board the flight to Mumbai, where culture is a blend of traditional festivals, food, music and theatres. The city offers a cosmopolitan and diverse lifestyle with a variety of food, entertainment, and nightlife, available in a form and abundance comparable to that in other world capitals.

    On arrival at Mumbai airport, TOTAL HOLIDAY OPTIONS executive will meet you at the arrival lounge holding a placard. He will assist you with a transfer to your hotel. The city offers a cosmopolitan and diverse lifestyle with a variety of food, entertainment, and nightlife, available in a form and abundance comparable to that in other world capitals.

    DAY 15

    Half day city tour visiting Gateway of India, Prince of Wales Museum and Dhobi Ghat

    After breakfast enjoy sightseeing tour of Mumbai visiting The Gateway of India, Mumbai's most famous monument, complete with its four turrets and intricate latticework carved into the yellow basalt stone and also an architectural landmark. We now visit The Prince of Wales Museum, which ranks among the city's most distinctive Raj-era constructions. It stands rather grandly in its own, crowned by a massive white Mughal-style dome, beneath which one of India's finest collections of paintings and sculpture is arrayed on three floors. The other famous sites we will visit are the -Dhobi Ghats one of the more well-known open air laundry facilities in Mumbai. Rest of the day free to relax and enjoy amenities at your hotel.

    DAY 16

    Departure transfer to International Airport

    Morning assisted departure transfer to Mumbai airport to board the flight to onward destination. The tour ends with sweet memories.
