DAY 1

Arrival at airport and transfer to the hotel

Tashkent is among the five largest cities in Central Asia. From modern to historical buildings, ancient mosques to modern shopping centres alternate with traditional oriental bazaars and markets offering a great cultural experience.On arrival, you will be received at the airport and transferred to the hotel. Enjoy the rest of the day at your leisure. Stay two nights in Tashkent

    DAY 2

    Full day city tour of Tashkent

    After breakfast, explore the Khast-Imam complex, home to the Barak Khan Madrassah, Tillya Sheikh Mosque, Kaffal Shashi Mausoleum, and the revered hand-written Holy Koran of Caliph Osman (644–656 AD). Stroll through the vibrant Chorsu Bazaar with its popular street food. In the afternoon, visit the Museum of Applied Arts. In the evening, enjoy a walk along Sailgoh Street, see the exterior of Romanov’s Former Palace, visit Navoi Theatre Square, and explore some of Tashkent’s notable metro stations. After sightseeing, return to the hotel and relax.

    DAY 3

    Flight to Nukus

    After an early breakfast, transfer to the airport to board a flight to Nukus, city renowned for the Savitsky Museum, which houses an extraordinary collection of avant-garde Russian and Uzbek art. This city also serves as a gateway to the intriguing landscapes of the Ustyurt Plateau and the remnants of the Aral Sea.

    Arrival transfer to the hotel and half day city tour of Nukus

    Upon arrival at the airport and you will be transferred to your accommodation. Later In the afternoon, visit to the renowned State Museum of Art, commonly known as the Savitsky Museum. This prestigious museum hosts the world's second-largest collection of avant-garde art, featuring an impressive array of Russian and Uzbek artworks that were preserved during the Soviet era. As you explore the museum's extensive galleries, you'll encounter masterpieces by artists who were once suppressed by the regime, offering a profound insight into the region's cultural and artistic heritage. In the evening, drive to Mizdakhan necropolis (20km west of Nukus)-once the second-largest city in Khorezm. Inhabited from the 4th century BC until the 14th century AD. Light trekking over the hilly site which spreads around 100 hectares. After sightseeing, return to the hotel and relax.

    DAY 4

    Travel to Aral Sea via Muynak

    Today, check out, and embark on an exciting journey towards the Ustyurt Plateau (Aral Sea), with a memorable stop en route at Muynak. Muynak offers a unique and poignant experience as you visit the "Cemetery of Ships," a remarkable testament to the region's history and resilience. This former port town, now surrounded by desert, is home to abandoned ships that stand as a symbol of the Aral Sea's ecological challenges. Despite the environmental changes, Muynak's beauty and history shine through, offering a glimpse into a bygone era. Later continue your travel to Ustyurt Plateau (Aral Sea) where more adventures and stunning landscapes await.

    Arrival at the Aral Sea. Stroll along the seashore; guests can swim in the sea and collect seashells. Check-in at the yurt camp on the shores of the Aral Sea. (Dinner prepared on the campfire and overnight stay in a traditional Karakalpak yurt). The camp has a shower with clean fresh water and a restroom. At night, you can observe millions of stars and sit by the campfire listening to the sounds of nature.

    DAY 5

    Half day excursion to Kurgancha Kala and travel to Nukus

    Do not miss the sunrise over the Aral Sea. It's a mesmerizing spectacle. After breakfast, proceed for some light trekking to the edge of Aral Sea where local people are “fishing” plankton “Artemina salina” - the only creature in the shrinking sea and observe. This morning embark on a fascinating journey to explore the historic settlement of Kurgancha Kala, which dates back to the 13th century. Stop in the village of Kubla-Ustyurt – a small town built by the conquerors of Ustyurt during the Soviet era. Excursion to the old lighthouse (a hill where a fire was lit to guide the way to the Urga settlement). Visit to the abandoned fishing village of Urga near Lake Sudochye (meaning Freshwater). Trekking over the abandoned settlement of the Russian and Polish people who were repressed during the Stalin regimen. You can see the ruins of the hospital, cane houses and old Fish Factory. As well you can talk with fishermen, who currently do the fishing and observe the different kinds of birds. Lunch at a local café in Kungurad. Visit to the historical and sacred complex Mizdakhan (IV-II BC, XIII-XVI AD), a necropolis with several interesting mausoleums: Nazlumkhan Sulu, Khalifa Yerejep, Shamun Nabi, as well as Giaur-kala, a city from the Zoroastrian era.

    DAY 6

    Travel to Khiva via Urgench

    This morning, check out and depart for Khiva. En route, visit Chilpik Kala, Toprak Kala, and Ayaz Kala—impressive archaeological sites dating back to the 3rd century AD. Continue your journey to Khiva along the Urgench route, uncovering the region's rich ancient history.

    DAY 7

    Full day city tour of Khiva

    After breakfast, enjoy a guided tour of Khiva’s historic landmarks, including Allakuli Khan and Muhammad Amin Khan Madrasahs, Kunya Ark, Kelte Minar, Pakhlavan Mahmud Mausoleum, Islam Khoja Minaret and Madrasah, Muhammad Rahimkhan Madrasah, Juma Mosque, and the Tash Hovli Palace.

    DAY 8

    Travel to Bukhara enroute visit Amudarya River

    After breakfast, depart for Bukhara. En route, stop at the banks of the Amu Darya River to enjoy the scenic views and take photos. Afterwards, continue your journey to Bukhara

    DAY 9

    Full day city tour of Bukhara

    Embark on a captivating architecture and cultural tour of Bukhara visiting Ark Citadel, a historic fortress that once served as a royal palace, offering insights into Bukhara's ancient past. Mausoleum of the Samanids, a masterpiece of early Islamic architecture and one of the oldest surviving buildings in Central Asia. Picturesque Lyabi Khauz Square, a charming plaza surrounded by historic buildings and bustling with local life. Explore the architectural complex of Poi Kalon, which includes the iconic Kalon Minaret, Kalon Mosque, and Miri-Arab Madrasah, showcasing the grandeur of Bukhara's Islamic architecture. Conclude your day by strolling through the Toki Zargaron trade domes, and ancient marketplaces that have been trading hubs for centuries, and marvel at the intricate design of the Magok-i-Attori Mosque, one of the oldest mosques in Bukhara.

    DAY 10

    Travel to Samarkand

    This morning, check out and drive to Samarkand. On the way, visit the Vabkent Minaret, the 13th-century Rabat Malik Caravanserai, and the historic Sardoba water reservoir, remnants of the ancient Silk Road. Later, continue to Samarkand—a city rich in history, famed for its breathtaking architecture and cultural legacy.

    DAY 11

    Full day city tour of Samarkand

    After breakfast proceed for the day tour that takes you through the historical and cultural heart of Samarkand, showcasing its most iconic sites. Visit the Ulugbek Observatory, a scientific marvel of the 15th century, and the Afrosiab Museum, which houses ancient artifacts from the region. Explore the Shakhi Zinda necropolis, a stunning complex of mausoleums, and the grand Bibi Khanym Mosque, once one of the largest in the Islamic world. Wander through the bustling Siyab Bazaar, where local life thrives. Admire the majestic Gur Emir Mausoleum, the final resting place of Timur, and conclude at Registan Square, home to the architectural masterpieces of the Ulugbek, Sher Dor, and Tilla Kari Madrasahs, showcasing the splendor of Timurid architecture.

    DAY 12

    Half day city tour of Samarkand and travel to Tashkent

    After breakfast, continue your guided tour of Samarkand. Visit the Silk Paper Making Center in Konigil, Khazrat Khizr Mosque, and the Mausoleum of Saint Daniel. Explore the Local Lore Museum, housed in an early 20th-century mansion once owned by wealthy merchant Kalantarov Abram and designed by architect E.O. Nelle in an eclectic style. In the evening, transfer to the Samarkand railway station for the 'Afrosiyob' high-speed train (Spanish Talgo)
