It joins the main Railway Station (for Kolkata) and the industrial city of Howrah with the city of Kolkata. Kumartuli (Potter's Village) - The neighbourhood of Kumartuli is well known for its traditional image-makers and potters (Kumors). Travel to Gopalpur, en-route stop at Chilika Lake - Asia’s largest brackish water lake spread over 1,100 square kilometres. Morning proceed for an excursion to Tibetian settlement at Chandragiri to explore the new world amidst of natural forest and SAORA villages. Chandragiri with rare scenic beauty is surrounded by luxuriant tropical forest, gurgling rivers, exquisite mountain slopes and roaring hilltops. This exotic place of Orissa is widely known for the Tibetan refugee colony. Bestowed with bounties of nature, this place is famous for seasonal fruits, Tibetan woollen garments, carpets and dogs of various breeds. The large scale horticulture plantations, as well as the cultural activities of the Tibetan refugees, make this place more colourful and attractive. Later explore Taptapani famous for hot sulphur springs. The waters are believed to have medicinal properties. Evening return to Gopalpur.
