Assistance on arrival at international airport

On arrival, once you have completed Immigration formalities and collected your baggage, please proceed to the arrival lounge. TOTAL HOLIDAY OPTIONS executive will meet you holding a placard who will assist you with a transfer to your accommodation. After a short briefing, we shall be doing a "familiarisation" ride (in an effort to know your bike better, to get familiar with its controls and the riding conditions in India).

Travel to backwaters on Motorcycles

We start gently with an easy leg to get used to our bikes and the Indian way of the road. What a treat is in store for you today! Your destination leads to the famed backwater town of Alleppey via fisherman village - Chellanam & Marari. The ride through the plains passes through settlements of rubber plantations, farmlands, fruit yards, and marketplaces.

Check in at Houseboat

On arrival, check-in and board your private houseboat converted from a Kettuvallam or traditional rice barge. Sail through the beautiful backwaters of Kerala as it reflects a world of serenity and wonderment. This large aquatic area is a vast network of lagoons, lakes, rivers and canals, and the people who live in this region have created their distinct lifestyles. Witness the peaceful way of life on amazing waterways with lunch, dinner on board. This will be a real highlight of your holiday.

Travel to Thekkady on Motorcycles

Disembark in the morning from the Houseboat, get picked up by our driver from the Jetty. Later, enjoy your ride descent towards Thekkady. We travel along with one of these canal bund roads amid lush green paddy fields filled with coconut trees and villages. Enroute visit a fruit farm, where you experience a bullock cart/ tractor ride.

Check in at hotel, later visit the Salim Ali Bird Sanctuary and the Bhoothathankettu dam

On arrival at Thekkady, transfer to your accommodation. Later proceed to visit to the Salim Ali Bird Sanctuary, spans across an area of around 25 square kilometers. It is nestled amidst the dense tropical evergreen and deciduous forests, making it an ideal habitat for numerous species of birds. Later visit to Bhoothathankettu Dam is a scenic reservoir and tourist spot. The dam is constructed across the Periyar River, surrounded by dense forests and picturesque landscapes.

Morning spice plantation tour, later in the evening attend cooking demonstration with dinner

Morning experience a spice plantation tour and see growing cardamom, pepper, coffee and various spices. It is believed that the spice trade dates back three thousand years in Kerala and many spices find their home here. The slanting slopes caress a variety of cinnamon, clove, nutmeg, ginger, turmeric and curry leaves. On the way back you could stop at the local market and purchase some fragrant spices. Evening attend a cooking class and enjoy learning to cook Kerala dishes, one of the most intriguing cuisines of the world. The class will be held in a traditional home set in the grounds of a working biol-organic spice garden.

Travel to Munnar on Motorcycles

We take a windy road to Munnar. We find ourselves on the highest mountain in south India, which stands at an impressive 2,700 m altitude (Anamudi, Kannan Devan hills). The seemingly gentle ride takes the riders through pristine tea estates, cool breeze and breathtaking views. For riders, Munnar offer some of the finest and thrilling trails as it winds its way through the shola forests, cardamom estates and tea gardens. You get to see the countryside, the indigenous tribal and the tea estate workers who work these tea gardens.

Today’s bike programmes have been catered to give you a ringside view of the beautiful countryside, the indigenous tribal, tea plantations, the tea estate workers colony and then learn about how the tea is processed at the local factory.

Travel to Kodaikanal on Motorcycles

Today we experience, one of our longest ride towards Kodaikanal by passing some towns and highways. Comprised of densely wooded jungles, undulating hill slopes, meandering rivers, cascading waterfalls, and verdure valleys-Kodaikanal's scenic beauty never fails to mesmerise travellers. Often referred to as the 'Princess of Hills', Kodaikanal is one of the most popular tourist destinations in South India. Situated at an elevation of 7000 feet above sea-level, along the crest of the Palani Hills. The major valleys-the Parappar and Gundar surround Kodaikanal from both sides.

Travel to Palakkad on Motorcycles

After an early breakfast, we start our today's ride through sandalwood forest of Marayoor, Chinnar WLS as well as picturesque landscape of Anamalai hills. We take another series of beautiful mountainous roads, passing remote villages on our way as we push on through the Tamil Nadu plains north of the mountain range surrounded by lush, peaceful countryside.

Travel to Ooty on Motorcycles

After an early breakfast we enjoy the ride to Ooty through Attappadi hills, tea plantations and tranquil countryside. Dense forests and tea plantations surround us once more as we climb towards Ooty, another ancient hill station much-loved by the English, set at the foot of the Doddabetta, the highest peak in the Nilgiri range (2,637 m). We make a crazily steep ascent on a series of 35 hairpin bends over only 12 miles.

City tour of Ooty followed by toy train experience

Today you will visit tea gardens and various scenic spots. During your day tour, you will come across the lush green tea gardens which are spread like a bed cover. Experience the most enchanting Toy Train ride from Coonoor to Ooty (01 hours and 15 minutes journey). The ride continues to inspire weaving its way through rocky terrain, ravines, tea plantations, and thickly forested hills, moving through time along the valleys and into the little dark winding tunnels around the bends up the gradients through the glen’s trees and chirping birds. The picturesque Nilgiri Mountains and the journey is worth the time spending in the train. Enjoy the mountains and the beautiful scenery that whisks pass you in the train. Initially the mountain train was pulled by a steam locomotive, but now this is sometimes replaced by a diesel one to give the train more pull.

Travel to Vypin Island on Motorcycles

We take the coastal road to Vypin Island and its numerous beaches that have only just gained popularity among tourists. Arrive and say goodbye to your bike crew.
