DAY 1

Assistance on arrival at Indira Gandhi International airport

Arrive Delhi, the Political Capital of India. Delhi is history, and the monuments are tablets on which the history is written. Every conqueror did his best to possess Delhi and make it his capital. It is not a single city but a combination of eight cities that have been established here from as early as 900 BC to 1930 when the British completed the construction of New Delhi as the capital of Imperial India. It is therefore not surprising that the monuments of Delhi successfully mirror the development of the architectural styles in the country. On arrival, once you have completed the Immigration formalities and collected your baggage, please proceed to the arrival lounge where you will be welcomed by the TOTAL HOLIDAY OPTIONS executive holding a placard who will assist you with a transfer to your accommodation.

    DAY 2

    Full day city tour visiting Jama masjid with rickshaw ride in Old Delhi and Qutub Minar

    Visit the Jama Masjid, one of the largest mosques in India, and enjoy a cycle rickshaw ride past the several busy bazaars and Asia’s largest spice market which has existed since the 17th century. Finally, visit Qutub Minar a World Heritage site, this is the tallest brick minaret in the world.

    DAY 3

    Travel to Agra

    Today travel to Agra; the home to India's most famous landmark, the Taj Mahal. A poem of white marble, the Taj is described as the most extravagant monument ever built for love. The city provides avid glimpses of Mughal architecture. Formerly the capital of the Mughal Empire, the culture and heritage still exists in the bylanes of the city alluring travelers from far ends of the globe.

    DAY 4

    Half day city tour of Agra visiting Taj Mahal and Agra fort

    Early morning visit India’s most iconic landmark, the Taj Mahal, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the Seven Wonders of the World. The epitome of love, standing majestically on the banks of the river Yamuna, was built in the 17th century by the Mughul Emperor Shah Jahan in loving memory of his queen. Made with pure white marble, ornated with semi-precious stones and built around a beautiful four gardens plan, it is universally admired as the greatest achievement in the whole range of Indo-Islamic architecture. Later visit Agra Fort built by Emperor Akbar, made with red sandstone, exhibits a fascinating mixture of Islamic and Hindu styles of artistry. The splendid structures within the fort, the ramparts and majestic gateways signify the immense power, wealth and confidence of the Mughal empire. Remaining day is free to relax or for own activities.

    DAY 5

    Travel to Jaipur

    Assistance on departure and travel to Jaipur, the first planned city of India, is a treasure-trove of culture, art and history. Famous for its color, lifestyle and Rajasthani cuisine. It is a city exuding royal heritage and extravagant richness.

    Assistance on arrival and afternoon enjoy High tea at Rambagh Palace

    Assistance on arrival and check in at hotel. Later in the afternoon experience High tea at Taj Rambagh Palace. Savour the best teas of the world with an exquisite array of exotic canapés and pastries while watching the resident peacocks strut in the gardens. A platter of traditional high tea and snacks will be served with an array of sweets and savouries varies, which often includes scones with clotted Devon cream, light pastries, sandwiches and more. Rest of the evening is free to explore and indulge in shopping at the colourful bazaars of Jaipur.

    DAY 6

    Full day city tour visiting Amber fort with Jeep ride, en-route photo stop at Hawa Mahal and Jal Mahal; also visit to City Palace & Museum

    Morning tour of Jaipur starts with a drive to Amber fort. En-route photo stop at Hawa Mahal (Wind Palace). The fort complex built of red sandstone and marble boasts of various edifices of prominence like the diwan-i-Aam, Sheesh Mahal, Shila Devi Temple and ‘Ganesh Pol’ gate that leads to private palaces of the royal. The fort presents a beautiful blend of Hindu and Muslim architecture. Next photo stop at Jal Mahal, built in the mid of the lake. Visit City Palace which boasts to have some of the priceless handwritten Hindu scriptures, miniature delicate paintings, preserved painted ceilings and the elephant saddles, also registered in the Guinness Book of Records to contain the biggest silver objects in the world. The rest of the evening is free to explore and indulge in shopping at the colorful bazaars of Jaipur.

    DAY 7

    Travel to Chhatrasagar

    After breakfast travel to Chhattra Sagar, a serene and picturesque destination known for its magnificent dam, sprawling lake, and luxurious tented accommodations. The pristine blue waters of the lake are surrounded by lush greenery and provide a stunning backdrop for relaxation and rejuvenation.

    On arrival check in at hotel. The rest of the day is at leisure to relax and enjoy Spa (on direct payment) at the hotel.

    DAY 8

    Morning village safari, later in the evening boat ride

    Morning proceed for the village exploration to take experience birdlife, farming communities, walks and rewilding. Accompanied by one of our knowledgeable naturalists, explore the farm, local temples and meet the villagers. Take a gentle dawn stroll around the lake, or a morning jeep drive through the grasslands, spying myriad bird species and herds of blue bull. Later in the evening enjoy boat ride one of the first of its kind, exploring the Lake Chhatrasagar in a boat is the best experience, reaching out to the mangrove hidden in the middle of nowhere and spotting water birds.

    DAY 9

    Travel to Mihirgarh, enrote visit Mehrangarh Fort & Jaswant Thada

    After breakfast travel to Mihir Garh with an en-route visit to Mehrangarh Fort one of the largest forts in India, where the beauty and grandeur of numerous palaces inside narrates a saga of hard sandstone yielding to the chisels of skilled Jodhpuri sculptors. Inside, the collection of musical instruments, palanquins, furniture and cannons on the fort’s ramparts are all well preserved. Continue to Jaswant Thada, a cluster of royal cenotaphs in white marble built in the year 1899 AD in memory of Maharaja Jaswant Singh II. Within the main cenotaph are the portraits of various Jodhpur rulers. Further travel to Mihir Garh, an eco-friendly boutique hotel located in the heart of the Thar Desert Rajasthan.

    If you wish, enjoy a relaxing day at the hotel or embark on an adventurous desert ride on the indigenous Marwari horses, once the pride of Rajput warriors. After a delightful al fresco breakfast, return by jeep for a leisurely afternoon. In the evening, explore Rajasthan's vibrant villages by jeep, taking time to walk around and mingle with the locals.

    DAY 11

    Travel to Udaipur

    After breakfast travel to Udaipur, also famously known as the “City of Lakes”. After a relaxed afternoon, enjoy shared boat ride at Lake Pichola. Stay two nights at Taj Lake Palace, a stunning heritage hotel offering opulent rooms, exquisite dining experiences, and panoramic views of the lake and Aravalli mountains.

    DAY 12

    Half day city tour visiting City palace and Jagdish Temple

    Morning, proceed for a guided sightseeing tour visiting City Palace and its complex. The City Palace boasts a wonderful blend of Medieval, European and Chinese Architecture and has various towers, domes and arches, which add to the flavour of this heritage site. Further visit Jagdish Temple, dating back to 1651 AD, it is an exquisite example of Indo-Aryan architecture. It is one of the largest and most famous temples in Udaipur and is dedicated to Lord Vishnu, who is worshipped as Jagannath, a form of Lord Krishna. Later, visit Fateh Sagar Lake, a beautiful artificial lake surrounded by hills and woodlands, where you can enjoy a tranquil boat ride or simply admire the stunning views.
