DAY 1

Assistance on arrival at international airport

On arrival, once you have completed Immigration formalities and collected your baggage, please proceed to the arrival lounge. TOTAL HOLIDAY OPTIONS executive will meet you holding a placard who will assist you with a transfer to your accommodation.

    DAY 2

    Full day city tour with walk around Jewish Synagogue, visit Mattancherry Palace, St. Francis church, Santa Cruz Cathedral, Chinese fishing net, Hill Palace followed by Kathakali dance performance

    Morning proceed for the sightseeing tour of Cochin. You will have a walk around the Synagogue. The area around the synagogue is known as Jews town and is one of the Kochi's spice trade centres. Thereafter we stop at Mattancherry Dutch Palace which was built by the Portuguese and presented to the Maharaja of Cochin in 1555. Ongoing, you will visit St. Francis Church, the first church to be built in India by the Portuguese. Next after visiting Santa Cruz Cathedral, enjoy a stroll on the beach to see the Chinese fishing nets. Also visit the Hill Palace which was built in the 19th century and is the largest archaeological museum in Kerala. Later in the evening enjoy a Kathakali Dance Performance. Kathakali is a ritualized dance form that is native to Kerala, with elaborate costumes and make-up. Male dancers portray both male and female roles that tell the stories taken mostly from the epics of the Mahabharatha and Ramayana.

    DAY 3

    Travel to Munnar

    Assistance on departure and travel to Munnar, a place to enjoy the scenic beauty and marvellous waterfalls, fascinating high mountains with the low flying clouds passing by. The town stands at a confluence of three mountain streams - Mudrapuzha, Nallathanni and Kundala. The three streams later join the Periyar River and finally the Arabian Sea. A haven of peace and tranquillity, Munnar is amazingly beautiful and an idyllic destination.

    On arrival in Munnar, check-in at your accommodation by self (No assistance required). Later, enjoy a guided local market tour where you can search for aromatic spices, indulge in a refreshing cup of tea, and savor delectable local snacks. Also visit the tea gardens of Munnar.

    DAY 4

    Kolukkumalai Jeep Safari , Tea Trail And Orthodox Tea Factory Visit

    This is a full day program that takes guests through some of the luscious tea plantations, scenic valleys and majestic mountains. The trip starts with a jeep drive from Munnar for 25 km along the main road through Kannan Devan and Lockhart tea plantations. The rest of the journey continues onto to an off-road track. The guest can experience the off-road jeep safari for 02 to 03 km, after which the guest have the option of either trekking through the tea plantations or continuing the jeep safari. The trek lasts for 2 to 3 hours to reach the top through tea plantations. The guest can choose the duration of the trek and continue the rest of the journey in the jeep. Once at the summit, the guest can continue to walk along the ridge and descend downhill to visit the tea factory to witness and learn about the orthodox tea making process. After the picnic lunch, return to your accommodation in Munnar.

    DAY 5

    Travel to Thekkady

    Morning travel to the valley of spices and see the spice plantation gardens. Thekkady, with its bountiful treasures of tropical flora and fauna, is the ultimate reservoir of many an endangered species and a rich tribal culture.

    On arrival at Thekkady, transfer to your accommodation. Later proceed to view the rare species of plantations and visit a spice plantation growing cardamom, pepper, coffee, and tea estate. Walk amidst the palette displaying variant shades of green, neatly arranged into terrace farms, the symmetry broken only by the sudden appearance of a gurgling stream. It is believed that the spice trade dates back three thousand years in Kerala and many spices find their home here. The slanting slopes caress a variety of cinnamon, clove, nutmeg, ginger, turmeric and curry leaves. On the way back you could stop at the local market and purchase some fragrant spices.

    DAY 6

    Morning boat ride at Periyar Lake, later visit Elephant Camp

    Morning experience a boat cruise on Lake Periyar, which showcases a kaleidoscope of activities that occur around the lake and jungle. Evergreen moist deciduous forests and savannah grass lands characterize Periyar. Afternoon enjoy an exciting visit to the Elephant Camp. Your time at the Elephant Camp will be an unforgettable experience, where you will have the opportunity to interact with these magnificent creatures in a respectful and caring manner. You will stand alongside the mahouts, who have developed a strong bond with these elephants over the years. Take a leisurely walk with the elephants through the camp's scenic surroundings.

    Travel to Marari

    Travel to Marari, the sea-side village experience set on 30 acres with coconut groves, lily ponds, fruit trees and a large organic farm on Marari beach in Mararikulam, is a tribute to the fisherfolk of this region who populate its spirit in obvious and subtle ways.

    Travel to Kochi

    Morning travel to Kochi, situated on the south-west coast of India, it’s a bustling commercial port city with a trading history that dates back to at least 600 years. Also known as the Queen of the Arabian Sea.

    Direct departure to Kochi airport

    Upon arrival in Kochi, you will be assisted by TOTAL HOLIDAY OPTIONS executive for a direct transfer to the airport to board flight for onward destination.
