The 16 Days trip in Indonesia is island hopping as you’ve never experienced it before! From Jakarta, fly to Indonesian Borneo (Kalimantan), the Tanjung Putting Wildlife Reserve, home of the famed Camp Leakey. Spend three days in the rainforest, searching for orangutans, proboscis monkeys and gibbon. Then flying to Semarang, the island of Java, explore the world’s largest Buddhist site of Borobudur Temple. Fly to Bali to explore Ubud, the “cultural heart” of Bali, an art and crafts centre as well as plus visit stunning temples and tour the countryside.

DAY 1

On arrival at the airport, meet your Tour Executive who will assist you to transfer to the hotel for overnight say in Jakarta.

DAY 2

After breakfast transfer to board flight to Pangkalan Bun then, cruise on Sekonyer River by traditional Borneo river craft up to the Rimba Orangutan Ecolodge. While cruising witness and enjoy the daily life of the locals living on the edge of the river. Stay three nights in Ecolodge.

DAY 3

Enjoy a two hours upriver nature excursion to Camp Leakey and spend the rest of the day hiking through the Borneo rainforest, searching for wildlife and exploring the swamp and lowland dipterocarp forests. Witness the feeding of the resident orangutans before returning to our Lodge. 

DAY 4

We set out again to explore nature, dense jungles and swamps of lowland Borneo and understand the flora and fauna that have made this one of the most biologically diverse areas on earth. If you are lucky you may spot orangutans, innumerable macaque monkeys and the rare proboscis monkey.

DAY 5

Morning transfer to Pangkalanbun airport to board a short flight to Semarang and travel to the ancient Buddhist city of Borobudur. Enjoy a relaxing evening and stay overnight in Borobudur.

DAY 6

Sunrise visit to the world’s largest Buddhist monument and the largest man-made structure in the southern hemisphere. It predates Angkor Wat by 300 years and Notre Dame by 200 years. "Discovered" in 1815, it has been excavated and returned to its original glory. After breakfast travel to Yogyakarta, remaining day free to explore and stay two nights in Yogyakarta.

DAY 7

After breakfast visit Kraton,  ruins of Taman Sari, the Water Palace, and craft markets, batik textiles and artist studios. Transfer to board flight to Denpasar Bali. Stay overnight in the Bali Kuta area.

DAY 8

After breakfast transfer to board a short flight to Labuan Bajo, a little town inhabited by fishermen, which lies in the extreme western part of Flores. Later visit Mirror Cave (Batu Cermin Cave) contains stalactites and stalagmites formation. Later explore the local market and panorama point of Labuan Bajo Bay Town. Stay three nights in Labuan Bajo.

DAY 9

We enjoy a full-day excursion, leave around 06.00 am and set sail to Komodo Island and walk to the former feeding ground to spot Komodo Dragon. Lunch will be served on board then sail to Pink Beach known for its Pink colour sandy beach and its beautiful coral garden, good for swimming and snorkelling.

DAY 10

We leave around 06.00 am and set sail to Komodo Island and walk to the former feeding ground to spot Komodo Dragon. Later visit Rinca Island one of the only few places to spot Komodo dragons in the wild along with other animals.

DAY 11

After breakfast transfer to the airport where you board a flight to Denpasar-Bali and transfer to Ubud. In the evening, attend a Kecak dance performance and stay three nights in Ubud.

DAY 12

Today visit Batur Volcano is known to have erupted 26 times between 1804 to 2000, buried Batur Village and Ulun Danu Temple with its lava and ashes. Batubulan is an art village where you could see the stone and wood statue and Taro village to witness the magnificent rice terrace.

DAY 13

Today visit Besakih the holiest Hindu Temple located on the slope of Mount Agung, Goa Lawah, commonly known for the Bat Cave and Kusamba Beach for Balinese salt mining.

DAY 14

Before travelling to Sanur, visit the Tabanan Regency of Bali and explore the fruit and flower market at Candi Kuning. En-route enjoy a leisurely two-hour hike to Jatiluwih overlooking a shimmering view of terraced rice fields then to Tanah Lot Temple that has a stunning natural beauty, built on a small rock. Stay two nights in Sanur.

DAY 15

Enjoy leisurely breakfast as the day is kept free for you to relax or explore the Jalan Danau Tamblingan offering a good amount of local eateries, cafes, arts and crafts shops.

DAY 16

After breakfast tour finishes with the direct transfer to the Bali airport to board your onward flight.
