This adventurous programme will take you to remote and untouched areas that offer the very best of sights and contacts with the natural environment. You may have to compromise a bit of comfort, but you will be rewarded with the experience of travelling to parts of Borneo that few get to see. During your trip, you will be actively involved with activities as biking, kayaking, walking and hiking through the jungle, national parks, along rivers and in the highlands of Borneo. Along the way, during this adventurous journey, you will encounter both the richness of wildlife and the warmth and hospitality of the native people of Borneo. Accommodation is generally of a good standard but there are several nights in basic jungle lodges, some without air-con. The program is compact but well-paced. Average fitness is required.
