It takes you to the cities rich in history and monumental splendour of India. View the ancient and modern attractions of Delhi, the world-famous Taj Mahal in Agra, the forts and palaces of Jaipur. Unique brassware, handicrafts, leather, silver, marble, carpets, paintings and textiles are India's trademark. Destinations selected for this tour are famous for their unique culture and mouth-watering cuisines, not to mention the variety in shopping. Delhi is a great introduction to an imperial past and shopping paradise. Varanasi is famous for being one of the oldest living cities in the world, housing great culture and strikingly beautiful Varanasi silk. We make our way to Agra to see the perfect marble monument that tells the story of unconditional love, the Taj Mahal. We'll explore a bazaar for marble handicrafts in Agra before travelling to Jaipur, the colourful city of Rajasthan, famous for grand palaces, colourful bazaars selling textiles, and high-quality gold, silver and diamond jewellery.

We enjoy a Royal stay at Deogarh Palace where every room of the Palace tells the story of its glorious past. Jodhpur will mesmerise you with its charm and delight you with its well-preserved Mehrangarh Fort, one of the largest spice and Jodhpuri textile markets. Before concluding the tour, we fly to Mumbai to enjoy the Bollywood buzz.

DAY 1

On arrival at the airport, meet your tour manager who will assist you to transfer to the hotel for two nights stay in Delhi.

DAY 2

Enjoy breakfast before starting a city tour of Old and New Delhi. Visit Qutb Minar, India Gate, Gandhi Memorial, Chandni Chowk and the largest spice market.

DAY 3

Transfer to board the morning flight to Varanasi. Known for its cultural experience and one of the oldest living city in the world, Varanasi abounds in the art of silk weaving. Enjoy an afternoon at the silk weaving village observing the art of silk weaving and shop for beautiful souvenirs. Evening witness the grand prayer ceremony at the Ghats. Stay two nights at Varanasi.

DAY 4

An early morning start for a heritage walk and sunrise boat ride on the Ganges to witness the perpetual movement of the pilgrims on the steps. After breakfast, enjoy a city tour and then in the afternoon take an excursion to Sarnath where Lord Buddha preached his first sermon at the deer park after his enlightenment.

DAY 5

After breakfast, board a flight to Agra, the home of the Taj Mahal. The city is still associated with the Mughals who were great builders. The remainder of the day is free to relax. Stay two nights in Agra.

DAY 6

An early start to visit the Taj Mahal, the world’s greatest monument of love and devotion with its superb craftsmanship of semi-precious stones inlaid in the marble. After breakfast, visit the impressive 16th century Agra Fort and Tomb of Itimad-ud-Daulah. Conclude the day with a visit to a marble inlay workshop to see artisans creating a masterpiece in marble and precious gemstones.

DAY 7

Travel to Jaipur. En-route stop to visit Fatehpur Sikri, the deserted city of the Mughals. Afternoon, enjoy a hands-on experience with block printing while visiting a local store and witness how precious and semiprecious stone is cut to perfection. Evening free to relax and stay two nights.

DAY 8

Morning city sightseeing tour with a visit to Amber Fort, and Jantar Mantar, the open-air astronomical observatory. Take a photo stop at the Hawa Mahal, followed by the huge City Palace complex, home to the Maharaja with a fascinating museum containing his personal collection. Afternoon, free to relax or explore the bazaar.

DAY 9

Travel to experience rural village life in which once was a very important area of Mewar aristocracy. Stay at Deogarh Mahal, a truly remarkable luxury palace hotel where every room of the palace tells the story of a bygone era. The evening is free to explore the village. Enjoy two nights stay at Deogarh Mahal.

DAY 10

Morning enjoy an experience into the Aravalli Hills by local Meter gauge train on 1930’s British Track. Afternoon, take a jeep ride to witness rural India where people tending to their fields, cattle and living in complete harmony with nature.

DAY 11

Today, make your way to Jodhpur. Evening, explore the famous Sadar Bazaar, our local Heena painting experts will surprise you with their designs for your hands. Stay two nights in Jodhpur.

DAY 12

Enjoy a city tour and visit Jaswant Thada and Mehrangarh Fort, one of the best-preserved forts in India. Rest of the day free to relax at the poolside or go shopping.

DAY 13

After leisurely breakfast, board your flight to Mumbai, famous for Bollywood, local and international fashion brands and also home to a wide assortment of local markets and boutiques. Stay two nights in Mumbai.

DAY 14

Enjoy a half-day sightseeing tour of Mumbai, visiting the Prince of Wales Museum, Gateway of India and Dhobi Ghat. The remainder of the day is free to relax or go shopping.

DAY 15

After breakfast tour finishes with transfer to Mumbai airport to board your onward flight.
