What Our Clients Say

“HI Jean.

Thanks for your call this afternoon.  That was really kind of you.  After talking about the trip to India, I don’t think I could recommend that specific trip highly enough.  Very, very well organized, very comprehensive and accommodating and the fact that we stayed in the same hotel most times for two nights added to it.  Whoever selected the accommodation did a great job…old renovated forts and palaces and even stables. Maureen (WA)

Don’t know whether we just lucked in on  the guide …Rahul but he was superb.  Very organised, pleasant and accommodating, his English and his knowledge was excellent

Rahul went out of his way to find out people’s particular interests and find ways to accommodate them.  Julie Peachey. Helen from SA  and I were particularly interested in fabrics and silver jewellery, but I told him I would only buy where it was guaranteed Fair Trade and no child labour involved and only wanted to buy from the Women’s cooperatives, run and organised by women which I’d read about.  He went out of his way to find these in many of the places we visited and said he was surprised to see what they offered. Maureen (WA)

If you want to recommend this tour group to others I wouldn’t hesitate to back that up and I’m sure Julie would agree with that.  Thanks for all your help.  Hope you and yours have a wonderful Christmas and New Year. Maureen (WA)

From beginning to end, this was an excellent tour, and we would thoroughly recommend Total Holiday Options to anyone wishing to experience India. We would certainly like to return, and if we get the opportunity, we would choose Total Holiday Options (especially if Binod was driving!)

Aileen and Ken MacKenzie (NZ)

we were totally delighted by every aspect of this tour, which gave us an amazing insight into aspects of the life, culture and scenery of this vibrant and colourful country. The tour itself was superbly organised, with activities in every city we visited planned to allow us to experience a wide variety of unforgettable experiences, from guided tours of breath taking temples and palaces to village life and safaris in the desert with rides on camels, elephants and jeeps. The ultimate moment was to see tigers in their natural habitat at Ranbamthore. At every new point of arrival in the tour we were met by local agents who were unfailingly helpful, but the real star who held everything together was our driver Binod Mahto, who with his superb driving and witty conversation kept us amused and informed during some of the long drives. We always felt safe with Binod behind the wheel, despite the chaotic traffic conditions we encountered at times. Binod is a real asset to the Company, and worth his weight in gold!  Aileen and Ken MacKenzie (NZ)
