Morning in time transfer to railway station to board fast train to Haridwar and a short drive to Rishikesh, considered one of India’s seven Hindu holy cities situated at the confluence of Ganges and Chandrabagha. Day 04: Rishikesh
Today enjoy River Rafting in Ganges and get your adrenal running. Later in the evening visit Rishikesh to see prayer ceremony by the banks of Ganges which is entirely a different experience in comparison to the prayer ceremony at Haridwar. (B,D)
Day 05: Rishikesh – Corbett
Today travel to Corbett National Park – the oldest national park of India named after legendary Jim Corbett, who mastered the art of killing man eating tigers to save the local populace. His tales still does the round of the villages around Corbett and his house in Kaladhungi, now converted into museum, evening will be spent at leisure. Stay two nights at Jim Corbett. (B,D)
Day 06: Wildlife Safari

Day 07: Corbett - Almora
Today travel to Almora. Established in 1815, enjoy the distinction of being the first British hill station in India. Here you can experience lifestyle of the Kumaon people. In the evening you will have an opportunity to sample the local Kumaon cuisine while staying three nights at Almora. (B,L,D)
Day 08: Almora

Easy Paced: These programs are set at a comfortable pace. Walking and climbing of stairs involved is generally in and around major tourist attractions though you may require walking from road till boat jetty while embarking or disembarking boats.
Moderate: These tours are not strenuous but you will require good amount of fitness as they may include days with long periods of walking or soft trekking, climbing of stairs, embarking and disembarking boats and where longer distances may be travelled by uneven roads.
Adventurous: These refer to programs where your physical fitness needs to be on highest level. Trekking, cycling, climbing, walking and more adventurous activities may be included.
Travelling In India

India: Visa is required for all foreign nationals.
Apply online for a Pre-Approval at https://indianvisaonline.gov.in/visa/tvoa.html .The online application should be submitted a minimum of 4 days in advance and a maximum of 30days of the proposed date of travel. TVOA links may also be found in websites of Ministry of Tourism, Ministry of Home Affairs, Ministry of External Affairs, Bureau of Immigration, Incredible India etc.
As of 27 Nov 2014 nationals and passport holder of 34 countries including Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, Japan, Finland, Luxem Bourg, Philippines, Cambodia, Vietnam, Laos, Indonesia and Myanmar to name a few, can avail a Visa-on-Arrival (VoA) facility upon disembarking at international airports Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai, Kolkata, Bangalore, Goa, Hyderabad, Kochi and Trivandrum only. You will require to pay fees along with require documentation and is subject to verification and satisfaction of the Immigration. Please contact High Commission of India for updated information.
Sri Lanka: Every tourist visiting Sri Lanka required visa prior to departure. Visa must be obtained atleast 01 months prior to arrival in Sri Lanka by visiting www.eta.gov.lk The Tourist visa is valid for stay within 30 days. Passport must be valid for at least six months before you commence travel to Sri Lanka. Fee will apply.
Nepal: Visa is required for all foreign nationalities and the best way to apply for visa is from the Royal Nepalese diplomatic missions in your home country. Tourist Visa also can be obtained on arrival. Passport must be valid for at least six months before you commence travel in Nepal. Fee will apply.
Bhutan: All foreign nationals require visa for Bhutan.
Visa can be arranged by TOTAL HOLIDAY OPTIONS. To process this we require clear readable colour copy of passport (page containing passport no and face picture in JPEG or PDF format) and current colour passport photograph and at least 30 days prior to date of entry into Bhutan. Remaining validity of passport should be at least 6 months from the date of exit from Bhutan.
Tourism Council of Bhutan issues visa clearance letter closer to travelling date which we email or fax you or your local travel agent. Travellers are required to produce aforesaid visa clearance copy at the time of check-in for their flights while those entering Bhutan by surface via Phuentsholing or Samdrup Jonkhar, they are required to produce this Visa Clearance letter at the Immigration counter. Actual visa is stamped at passport on arrival in Bhutan.
Visa only service is not offered in Bhutan, you would have to book a service tour package from TOTAL HOLIDAY OPTIONS that includes accommodation, guided tours, transfers etc
Myanmar: Visa is required for all nationalities.
Visa can be arranged by TOTAL HOLIDAY OPTIONS. Day 1 – Arrival/Delhi
On arrival you will be welcomed by our Tour Executive at the airport lounge with TOTAL HOLIDAY OPTIONS signboard. Transfer to hotel where you will receive a traditional welcome with Garland while hotel formalities are completed. Stay overnight in Delhi.
Day 2 – Delhi
Sprawling on the banks of the river Yamuna, Delhi, the capital of India, typifies the soul of the country. The city conceals within its bosom the remains of a civilization that flourished over the last five thousand years. Several rulers ruled over Delhi and left behind numerous architectural wonders. After breakfast and briefing, mesmerise yourself in the splendid sightseeing tour of New and Old Delhi tour and witness the legacy of that past which survives in the many monuments left behind by the regents. Your Guided sightseeing tour includes visit to the Qutab Minar; the 234-step tower dating to 1193, drive passes India Gate; honouring the 90,000 Indian soldiers who laid their lives in World War I, Gandhi Memorial; the simple black marble slab honouring Mahatma Gandhi. Next on your visit are two renowned 17th-century landmarks: Lal Qila, the Red Fort palaces which you drive pass and the Jama Masjid, literally meaning the Friday Mosque, India’s principal and biggest mosque, the most elegant mosque in India with its black and white onion domes and minarets. Also visit Chandni Chowk, which was Shahjahanabad’s Main Street in 1650, faces the majestic Red Fort. It originally had a central canal running down its full length, and when moonlight reflected off the water it got the name Chandni Chowk or ‘Avenue of Moonlight’. The canals have long since gone and it is now a chaotically bustling area, typical of real India, containing a mix of stalls, shops, food outlets and temples. Between the mosque and Chandni Chowk is a narrow shop-lined street along which you will be transported by cycle rickshaws on your most photogenic journey of the tour. Day 3 - Delhi / Haridwar/Rishikesh (Dehradun Shatabdi: 12017-ETD: 0650hrs/1125 hrs)
Morning transfer to railway station in time to board fast train to Haridwar. Arrive Haridwar and drive to Rishikesh (25 Kms, 1 hour) considered one of India’s seven Hindu holy cities situated at the confluence of Ganges and Chandrabagha. It is home to many ashrams offering spiritual learning, yoga and meditation. For generations Rishikesh has been a rest stop for holy men and pilgrims heading into the Himalaya seeking purity. Check in at your designated hotel, rest of the day at leisure. Overnight stay at Rishikesh (B, D)
Day 4 – Rishikesh
Wake up early and head for Shivpuri to indulge in River Rafting in Ganges and get your adrenal running. Get into your rafting gear, follow carefully the safety briefing and all about white water rafting and you are ready to thrill yourself with the rafting experience. Raft down rapids like "Three Blind Mice", "Crossfire", "Body surfing", "Return to Sender", "Roller Coaster", "Golf Course" and lot more. End the trip near Laxman Jhula. Return back to hotel. Afternoon at leisure. Later in the evening visit Rishikesh to witness prayer ceremony by the banks of Ganges and experience peace and tranquillity an experience heavenly but heavily contrast to the morning experience. return back to hotel for overnight stay at the hotel. Day 5 - Rishikesh / Corbett(250 Kms, 5-6 hours)
After breakfast drive to Corbett National Park – the oldest national park of India named after legendary Jim Corbett, who mastered the art of killing “man eaters” tigers to save the locals. His tales still does the round of the villages around Corbett and his house in Kaladhungi, now converted into museum, shall still gives you a feeling of his presence. Passing through the villages and towns, closely watching the countryside of India, you will reach Corbett to check in at the hotel. Evening spent at leisure. Stay overnight at the hotel. (B,D)
Day 6 - Corbett
This morning you have a safari by elephant, a fantastic experience! Corbett National Park -The heavenly abode for adventure lovers and wildlife enthusiasts, Corbett National Park is set in the Shivalik foothills of the Himalayas in Uttaranchal. River rafting and elephant rides are the favourite activities of the tourists here across the 520 sq km of India's first national park along the bank of Ramganga river. It is also known for Sal tree as its main flora. It is named after the hunter-naturalist Jim Corbett, who suggested the conception of this wildlife sanctuary, Over 50 mammals, 600 birds and 25 reptile species have been spotted here but the highlight of course is the Indian Tigers, Leopards and Gharials, the rare fish eating, long-nosed crocodiles. Return to the Hotel for Breakfast. Later after Lunch go on a jeep safari to the grassland to view the wildlife especially the evasive tiger. Dinner and Overnight at the Hotel. (B,L,D)
Day 7 – Corbett/Almora ( 5 hours drive)
After breakfast drive to Almora today. Established in 1815, Almora enjoys the distinction of being the first British hill station in India. The virgin hill station of Almora teems with scenic beauty and is fortunate to have been blessed by Mother Nature in abundant and it is evident from the bountiful nature. The location of the city has a quaint shape since Almora is located on a horse shoe shaped hillock. The hillock is covered with lush greenery making the city overflow with natural bounty. The buildings and estates around Almora town reflect a curious mixture of British colonial and Kumaoni architecture. Here you can have a sit down and admire the views before your first walk into the foothills, you will experience the mountain lifestyle of the Kumaon people. Overnight at Kalmatia Sangam (B,L,D)

The Keoladeo National Park or Keoladeo Ghana National Park formerly known as the Bharatpur Bird Sanctuary in Bharatpur, Rajasthan, India is a famous avifauna sanctuary that plays host to thousands of birds especially during the summer season.
